Schedule and Cost

Week-long tour

The cost for the trip will be 1,800.00 EURO per person (double occupancy). Please look here for the current exchange. I price the trip in EURO because the exchange rate fluctuates. Whatever the exchange rate is when you book your trip, I will honor it for the time of travel as long as the exchange does not fluctuate more than 10%. Of course I will also refund you anything above a 10% change as well.

Less than a week

Most people come for the whole week, but if you only have a few days, please come! Per day it will cost 275 EURO (per person, double occupancy) and you can join me for the time you have. All lodging, meals, transportation (while within the village), activities, and guide and translation services are included in that price. There is always something wonderful happening and I would love to share any time you have. Dipping in for a few days is a great way to start to get to know this area.

The group size will not exceed 10. I cannot imagine giving you the kind of attention and experience you deserve with a group any bigger than that. If the group is smaller than 6 people, there will be an additional cost to cover group expenses like transportation and guide services. The obvious bonus to that will be much greater focus and attention on your needs during your stay.

Custom Program

I can also happily organize a customized trip for you and your group of any size. Please contact me about details. I can arrange for a variety of different quality options for accommodation, transportation, and activities.

Included in the trip:

• Transportation from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Abbateggio on Saturday, and transportation back to a hotel in Rome on the following Saturday. (For week-long tour only)
• A local translator and guide.
• 7 nights accommodation in Abbateggio and one night’s accommodation in Rome. (Double occupancy, please add 100 EURO to the total price for single.)
• All meals while with the group including wine we select.
• Transportation while in Abbateggio.
• Morning Italian lessons at breakfast with our translator. (Optional but included if you would like it.)
• All fees and entry costs for museums, wineries etc. while with the group.

Not included:

• Airfare/transportation to and from Rome.
• Any meals or snacks eaten not with the group, or any alcohol desired that is not offered with the meal.
• Any services, lessons, spa fees etc. during the “free day”, or when not with the group.
• Any costs incurred to meet the group after Saturday, or to leave the trip early.
